The Government of India, in Department of Heavy Industry (DHI)
Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprise has a scheme on
“Enhancement Competitiveness in the Indian Capital Goods Sector” with
the main objective of making the Domestic Capital Goods Sector Globally
Competitive. This scheme has a component of “Integrated Industrial
Infrastructure Centre” (IIIC) to make machine tool sector more competitive.
TMTP has been developed in an extent of 530 acres of land as a self
contained gated community. TMTP will have about 158 plots of various
dimensions. This will be an integral part of CBIC-TITL on the
Chennai - Bangalore - Chitradurga Industrial Corridor (CBICIC). This is
coming up adjacent to Japanese Industrial Township.
Industrial plots will be allotted to Indian/FDI units belonging only to
manufacturing chain of Machine Tools. The allotment procedure will be fair
and transparent based on the existing KIADB guidelines. The land will be
allotted by KIADB on Lease basis for 99 years.
The TMTP will be a cluster of machine tool industries, producers of accessories, Attachments, Sub-systems and Components such as CNC Systems, Ball Screws, Liner Guides, Motors & Drives, Bearings, Mesuring Systems etc., along with the suplly chain units, as well as service providers to the industry. Interested Companies are invited to set up their units in TMTP.
