GOK is aiming to achieve its vision for creation of facilities like CEFC (Common Engineering Facility Centre), R&D (Research and Development), STP/ETP Green Cover Area, Skill Development Centre, Common Test and Certification Centre etc., by creating infrastructure facilities matching international standards.
To make Karnataka as one of the top capital goods producing state of the nation by raising the levels of productions and exports from the current level by 2025.
By setting up a Machine Tool Park is therefore essential to invite domestic and foreign companies, we wish to establish manufacturing units. This will lead to increased production of machine tools, which would eventually reduce the imports.
To increase employment from the current level by significant extent by training maximum number of people by 2025. To enhance the quality regime in the capital goods sector through relevant standards to propel the sector and to curb inflow of sub –standard capital goods.
